#1702 Moving Day!

GSMR is happy to report that #1702 has taken residence inside the new Steam Shop. The engine was transferred within the rail yard in Dillsboro with no complications! Here are some photos from the moving day!

  5. Hey GSMR crew, does railfest 2015 seem like a realistic date for 1702’s return? Also will yall offer steam cab rides again?

    1. Hey Brian! RailFest 2015 may not be the date that the engine will be able to pull train sets, BUT we hope to have it on the line available for touring & photo ops etc. We hope to have it back fully operational on the line by the Fall of 2015. We are unsure about steam cab rides at this moment in time, but we will let our fans know! Thanks for your support!
